Success Academy Charter Schools is an esteemed charter school organization located in New York City, operating 47 schools across the New York region. With strong leadership under the guidance of its founder and CEO, Success Academy continues to make a significant impact in the realm of education. 

We were absolutely delighted when Success Academy approached our company seeking assistance with their marketing strategy. Our team enthusiastically embarked on the journey of collaborating with them, crafting a comprehensive plan tailored to meet Success Academy's specific marketing goals. Leveraging our expertise, Moderne employed a strategic blend of three distinct marketing strategies to effectively promote the schools. Staffing

Moderne is aware of how important an excellent education system is to parents. Thankfully, Success Academy not only has a great structure in place but also properly educated teachers to guide children on the path to success. 

To educate the target audience of Success Academy, parents of school-aged children, our team activates in-neighborhood street teams six days per week. Actively holding weekly events in Harlem, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Washington Heights, our brand ambassadors seek out and connect with prospective parents who might be interested in this opportunity.

By activating a team of four brand ambassadors and one main lead per location, we are effectively able to attract prospects to our client with the overall goal of increased brand visibility, customer engagement, and ultimately, additional enrollments. We engage with over 16,000 target consumers per month on an ongoing basis. 

Place-Based

As part of our marketing strategy, we adopted a place-based approach to expand the reach of Success Academy within the local community. This involved strategically targeting venues situated near the school, ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility for the target audience. 

Our list of venues included a diverse range of establishments such as convenience stores, barbershops, hair and nail salons, laundromats, supermarkets, and pharmacies. By placing promotional materials and engaging with these local businesses, we created valuable touchpoints where parents and caregivers frequently visit. 

This approach not only heightened brand awareness but also facilitated convenient access to information about Success Academy, ultimately fostering a stronger connection between the school and the surrounding community.

By focusing on these nearby establishments, we aim to make a meaningful impact within our immediate community. Success Academy place-based media campaigns have earned more than an estimated 9,874,688 impressions.   

Targeted Direct Mail Campaign

In our effort to reach out to parents with children aged four to ten, we implemented a high-touchpoint strategy with the final piece being the distribution of direct mailers to 62,414 households located within a 1.5-mile radius of the Harlem, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Washington Heights schools. 

By narrowing our focus to this specific demographic within close proximity, we aimed to establish a direct line of communication and effectively engage with the families who comprised our target audience. This targeted approach allowed us to tailor our message and capture the attention of parents who were actively seeking quality educational options for their children.
