And let's not forget about those folks sitting around waiting for their turns either. An Elle magazine from last summer only goes so far.

Moderne recently executed a campaign for Head & Shoulders in Hispanic Barbershops throughout the Los Angeles market. The program objective and focus was to engage, excite and enlist Hispanic barbers for H&S in-store activations. Barbershops were stocked with hundreds of samples and coupons per week for customers to insure maximum delivered samples and impressions.

If you want to add a little more "body" to your campaign, consider the potential for utilizing professionals to help promote your brand. This is a somewhat generic term, but it includes everything from Senior Centers and Recreational Centers to Knights of Columbus, VFWs, Kiwanis Centers and more. The beauty of these locations is that they make it very easy to target specific community sub-group, if necessary.
In many of these venues, visitors will stay upwards of 1-2 hours at a time, with multiple visits monthly - or even weekly!

There are a lot of questions about healthcare in the U.S. these days. There's one thing we know for sure: regardless of who's paying for it, community Medical Clinics will remain the primary medical care facilities for a large portion of the population. Between appointments and walk-ins, these offices are constantly busy treating patients both with and without health coverage. If you've ever been to a clinic - or to visit any doctor for that matter - you know just how long the wait can be.

Here's a question: would you spend your leisure time reading about types of psoriasis? Your answer is "no," most likely. But would you spend the long while in the waiting room reading it? You're darn right you would. In a waiting you read anything with words, and stare at anything without. And therein is the value of Medical Clinic media.
